A dark wolfess of charcol, frost and grey hue, padded lazily into the grounds, but one could tell she was alert. Auds stood erect upon her cranium, orbs darted lazily around. Her pawsteps were heavy, but with a slight bounce in them. Her muscular bod swayed gently to and fro with each step the she-wolf took. Weaving through the trees and bushes, she found a quiet little spot to sit. Her head was bent low to the ground as she sniffed around, searching for the scent of a dark brute that might want a femmora like herself.
Taking a deep breath, the vix named Asina sat and shifted her weight upon one side. Her full plume feathered out behind her as she leaned against the tree trunk. Glancing about once more, she tilted her maw upwards. A chilling howl was sent out in search of the brujo that could face her, hold his ground, not be afraid of a female that knew what she was doing. Finishing her howl, she blinked a few times before biting at a flea on her side. Shaking her body, she waited.

Curse was awoken from her dreamless sleep by a chilling howl. It sounded somewhere near by, climbing to her paws she shook the fallen leaves from her black pelt. She had come to this forest at night; the area was unknown to her, which wasn’t surprising, nowhere was known to her anymore. There was nowhere in this world that she would ever called home once again. With these morbid thoughts racing throughout her mind, she allowed herself and quick thought of her butchered family, oh how she did miss them. ‘This is no time to be weak’ she thought to herself bitterly and padded silently into the thickening scrub of the forest.
A strange scent rode upon the soft breeze, a scent she rarely smelt, it was the scent of another wolf. A chill of excitement ran down along her spine but she shook her head to dismiss the emotion. This was no time for rash decisions, most of the wolves she had met were battle-scarred and insane from this decaying world, she didn’t expect this new wolf to be different. And could not afford another battle wound from this new threat, her quest was far too important. Her quest for revenge.
Winding her serpentine path through the forest, she searched for her next victim to fall prey to her sharp teeth. She found that victim to be a male fox, which trotted confidently with a small bird within its long jaws. It had time for one startled yelp has Curse’s strong jaw enclosed suddenly around its neck and with one quick bite its life quickly fled its small form.
‘Silly thing,’ she belittled the dead fox for letting its guard down, ‘tsk tsk, no wonder your dead,’ with a silent giggle she began to feast upon the fox’s carcass. Bones cracked and the rich aroma of fresh blood hovered in the air around the kill. Soon, there were only bones and bits of red flesh that clung to them. With her belly full she continued to wind through the deep forest. Still looking to seek revenge for her packs’ slaughterer.

Asina glanced around as the scent of a new femmora entered her velvets. Turning, she followed the new scent to a femmora feasting upon a dead fox. For a moment, she didn't know what to do. A wolf feasting upon it's own cousin? Odd, but Asina had done it before, long ago. Letting her head drop sligthly, she spoke to the femmora. 'ello. Her voice wasn't angelic, no, far from that. Her orbs narrowed as she looked upon the dead fox. Enjoying yourself? Her voice was steady, not wavery like the lights were. No, she had to be confident against another dark. A small yawn made her kissers part, showing off her pearly whites.

There was a lengthy silence before she replied sourly, “I was…” her black eyes staring intensely at the other wolf. She was wary of this wolf, she knew by experience that other wolves of darkness were ones to be cautious of. But Curse was not coward, and would not run from this new threat.
Stepping forward, over the remains of her kill, she growled menacingly, “What is your purpose of being within my sight?” she demanded hatefully. Curse could tell by the other wolf’s scars that she was a fierce fighter, and the flames of darkness seemed to emanate from her form. To any other creature, that had not be ravished by death’s cruel fate, this new wolf would make them cower in fear, and by her smile Curse noted that she was probably use to it too.
She knew that around this wolf, she had to be on guard, one false move and it would spell her doom. Curse’s heart drummed in her chest, not out of fear but out of excitement, yes this wolf was a threat but Curse’s mind raced with the prospect of an ally. But this dark wolf could be either friend or foe, and Curse quickly put aside her ideas and readied for a fight.
